Good news! Jeff Kell is recovering from his fight with
the hospital infection in ICU, despite his doctor's
prognosis of this being very unlikely.

He has been moved to a regular room and able to sit up for a
short while. He also ate regular food today for the first
time today since he was taken to the emergency room Jan. 1.

He cannot talk due the ventilator and is still very weak.
The bad news is that he will need a liver transplant to
really recover. The good news is it looks like he will be
able to get strong enough to be able to receive a transplant.

We will be taking him an AlphaSmart keyboard and with it he will
be able to communicate more easily.

Richard
