I need some guidance on getting the POSIX shell working on my 7.0 installation.
I apparently have no files in most of following accounts:

drwxr-xr-x 2 MANAGER.SYS 0 224 Oct 2 2001 bin
drwxrwxr-x 2 MANAGER.SYS 0 224 Oct 2 2001 dev
dr-xr-xr-x 2 MANAGER.SYS 0 224 Oct 2 2001 etc
dr-xr-xr-x 3 MANAGER.SYS 0 320 Oct 2 2001 hpshell-
examples
dr-xr-xr-x 2 MANAGER.SYS 0 224 Oct 2 2001 lib
drwxr-xr-x 3 MANAGER.SYS 0 320 Oct 2 2001 local
drwxrwxr-x 5 MANAGER.SYS 0 512 Oct 2 2001 opt
drwxrwxrwx 2 MANAGER.SYS 0 2240 Jun 9 11:09 tmp
dr-xr-xr-x 14 MANAGER.SYS 0 1376 Oct 2 2001 usr
drwx------ 5 MANAGER.SYS 0 512 Oct 2 2001 var

I am guessing that something didn't get installed from the factory SLT when we
had a failed system disc swapped out. I did not do the system rebuild and I don't
know what options the CE used to put the OS back onto the drive. Can
somebody advise me if my syuspicions are correct and what the appropriate
course of action to take is? Do we just restore the missing files from the factory
tapes? Is there a special procedure to follow or an install job?

Regards,
Jim
