I agree with the others in that there is no definites > 5 years in the
future especially in this business.

But, HP has announced a new 64 bit MPE and a host of new product
improvements. Second, HP is increasing its commitment to expand its
hardware availablity on the MPEiX platform.

Many of these so called industry experts have vocalized all sorts of
alternative platforms. Most of whom have gone bankrupt or who never even
got started.

I have been supporting HP 3000's for over 18 years and have seem them
come from a nobody to #2. Looking strongly at #1.
