     Quest Software, Inc., a leading developer of software solutions for
     the HP3000 and Open Systems platforms, is currently seeking applicants
     for positions in our Technical Support group.  Quest's Newport Beach,
     CA office offers a casual, team-oriented environment.

     The following positions are currently available:

     - MPE Technical Support Engineer
     - Open Systems Technical Support Engineer

     Both positions require strong troubleshooting skills, a
     people-oriented approach to solving technical problems, and the
     ability to provide training and implementation assistance to customers
     on-site.  Travel is required as is providing after-hours support as
     part of an on-call rotation.  Prior technical support experience is
     preferred and strong consideration will be given to candidates with
     previous experience using Quest products.  Experience with system
     management, database administration, and/or programming (any language)
     is a plus.

     The MPE position further requires a minimum of 2 years' experience
     with the MPE operating system; knowledge of IMAGE and related tools;
     and an understanding of file system structure, intrinsics, and related
     concepts.  Experience with other third party tools such as MPEX,
     Adager, DBGeneral, and others is also desirable.

     The Open Systems support position requires knowledge of UNIX and
     Windows NT-based systems.  Supported UNIX platforms include HP-UX, Sun
     Solaris, and AIX.  Oracle knowledge/experience is strongly desired as
     is a firm understanding of UNIX and NT system architecture.  A minimum
     of 2 years of experience dealing with UNIX and/or NT systems is
     required.
