Mark,

Ahhh, the HP250 (and later the HP260). Once upon a time a had quite a
number of customers on that little baby. I thought that was a great
computer, not particularly scalable, but I liked the environment.

Thanx,

There were quite a few that used it. I worked for a company called
abacus systems at the time and we ourselves had 6 diferent customers
using it. One was a large intermodal shipper that we eventually
migrated to the 3000. The other five switched to the HP250 when
the 300 disappeared. Now, it may be that abacus was the only
successful reseller of the 300, but I doubt that.

It was a nice box and way ahead of its time. Too bad it was
another stealth marketing issue. IIRC, when it was canned, many
from the engineering team left HP and went to Apple and did the
Lisa.
