Hear, Hear. We've got an HP 3000 Series 947 that has at least 99.9% uptime,
two HP Netservers (LC & LM) running Banyan Vines & NT Server that have a
little less, but the HP boxes are really nice machines.

Original Text
From "Bruce Toback" <[log in to unmask]>, on 12/9/97 11:05 AM:
Denys writes of NT servers:

>NT is
>indeed ready for the big time.

and goes on to say:

>Mine stays up for weeks on
>end.

which seems to refute the first statement. A system is ready for the big
time when its users stop being impressed by three weeks' worth of uptime.

NT 1997 = MPE 1979?
