I just received two calls from customers who (bless their hearts) are still
running our Office Extend Print Connection product.  Examining the
modification list in the source code, I see that the last time I touched the
code was 1988.  We were apparently using a demo timeout routine in those
days in which the drop-dead date in a "production" (i.e., payed for) copy of
the product was changed to the impossibly long-range value of 1/1/1999.

As was pointed out to me (pointedly) yesterday, we have now passed that
date.
