Does anyone have any experience with, or know of any tools, which can be
used by an application (written in COBOL) on an HP3000 to access an Oracle
database on an HP9000? I've talked to Oracle and they are not supporting
the HP3000 any more. We have a piece of in-house middleware that handles
all the database IO between our application and the current Image database
that is written in COBOL but it could probably be rewritten in whatever
language would make accessing Oracle easier. Our version of Oracle is 8.17
(8I).

Thanks in advance for any help or information you can give me on this.

Paul Krikorian.
