I recently purchased a 28655A PB SE SCSI Adapter card from a third party
thinking it was what I needed to add an SE SCSI channel to my 947. I
installed the card and ran ODE MAPPER - didn't see the card.

1. Have I got a bad card?

2. Are there restrictions on which slot(s) I can use for this card?

3. I should really be using a 28642A as the 28655A is for an HP-9000, but
at least one third-party assures me the 28655 should work OK in my 947. Any
one care to comment?

TIA.
