There are also ways of storing the photos on the HP-3000 directly.  Doing so
eliminates ties to multiple systems and their resulting dependencies, etc.  A
while ago there was a discussion here on HP3000L regarding ways to store
images in Image.  I think it was Wirt who had a sample schema going????

It would be nice if there were smoother ways of doing this kind of thing via
HP-3000 systems and MPE.  HP needs to do some updating of ALLBASE so that it
can compete with other SQL implementations like Access.  Silly that an
inexpensive database tool like Access has all that usability and MPE based
products do not.  I've been told that ALLBASE is a SQL-86 level product while
the rest of the SQL world is SQL-92 and soon to be SQL-99.
