Sure; works like a champ. You do, however, give up rollback recovery, so it
may take longer to "undo" a transaction. The way to do it is to make a
backup of the database, then start a new logging sequence on the non-system
volume. If there's a failure on the volume containing the database, you use
the backup copy and roll it forward to the pre-failure state using the log
files. Restart the logging sequence each time you back up the database.
