We tried that here (Newfoundland, Canada) one year, man it was bizarre,
10:00 PM and still broad daylight.

What, eliminate it?  I heard somewhere recently that they're talking about
"double daylight savings time" (two hour shift) now.  I think the idea was
to possibly save energy here in California.
