Ah yes, KLA does ring a bell -- never worked with a place that had [much use
for] it, but knowing this now sets my mind at ease -- someone replied asking
if computer virii can be contracted by "clicking a link", and the sad answer
is "yes" [intentionally malicious HTML can do wonderous things to a windows
PC running internet exploder] Come-on messages of "click here to save $2500
on software for your HP" are just the way such items are "introduced" to a
system...
(of course, my response also continued along the lines that it seemed to be
quite a bit of trouble and effort to go to "just" to get a virus on perhaps
a couple thousand PC's -- if indeed this was "targeted" to HP3000/9000 users
and not "generic HP PC users", then the exposure population would be rather
small...)
