Here's a suggestion
>access control
>rep all
>go
If you still get 2 records
>QUERY
b=
pw
mode
s=control
f all <key>
r all

Hi,
What would cause Quiz to read a record twice? A client has a dataset called
CONTROL that has 1 record in it. Here's what happens:
use purgeit
> access control
> define curr-fisc = current-fiscal
> report curr-fisc
> go
08/07/00 XYZ Company PAGE 1
CURR-FISC
2001
2001
?
Records selected: 2
Lines printed: 4
Pages printed: 1
>
In query there is only one record (as it should be)...any ideas???
TIA,
Janet
