InfoWorld reports:

        A U.S. judge has ruled that the government's ban on the export
        of encryption technology is unconstitutional because it violates
        the right to free speech, the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF)
        said Tuesday.

This particular case involved a gentleman who wanted to post cryptography
algorithms on the Web.
