As a Manager, and mediocre technical person, I risk putting my foot in my

I agree 100% with Alfredo. As soon as a workable version of ODBC for the
HP3000 is available (we are currently testing MBFosters, but it has a few
holes in it) we will be porting most screen handling to the PC using tools
such as VB, and Borlands Delphi.
I see the benefits as:
More beneficial interface.
More information is "View"able
Programming is easier (in comparison with Fortran 77)
Users want it.
By using the 3000 as a Server, and not an App processor,
It is easier to put the data in formats the users want.
(IE: Excel, Access, Crystal Reports etc.)
Just my two bits.....
