No need to remove the line printer configuration (I assume this is your LDEV 6?)
-- you still need an LP device class.

When you start your system, do, ":SPOOLER LP;OPENQ", either in your SYSSTART
file or from a logon UDC or as a manual step. This will allow the LP device to
allocate spoolfiles and jobs to allocate $STDLIST.

To create DADCONF, assuming your network is properly configured, stream the job,
JCONFJOB.NET.SYS, and wait for a successful completion message on the system
console. You may need to do a =SHUTDOWN, and START NORECOVERY, afterward -- I
don't recall. You could first try starting your network immediately to see if
it comes up OK.

Hi,

Just purchased a used hp 922 to do some work on, no manuals.

The grey matter also died when it is HPIB, still it works, however as i
donot have a line printer, dev 6 is stopping the spoolfiles and jobs
don't log on.

Also i donot have a DTC, I do not need one.

How can I spoof the line printer.. Can i remove it in sysgen safetly.

Is there some how i can create a DADCONF.net.sys file, the network needs
it when i do nscontrol start..
