It looks to me that both India and Pakistan are immune to the
nuclear forces of US. Therefore all those submarines you talk
about do not matter when it comes to India and Pakistan. The
right course  US should have taken was embracing the call
for Democratization of world order given by India  four years ago
(see the link: http://www.asiasociety.org/speeches/vajpayee.html )
But US under the leadership of Clinton, driven by a stupid and
egoistic will with the delusion of superpowerdom took some
irreversible actions, that has set US now helplessly rushing
toward it's doom.
