From http://radio.weblogs.com/0104684/2002/09/15.html#a318:
Send in your top reason, and if it's insane, funny, or a bit of both, we'll
publish it in an upcoming issue of Network Computing.
Here are thirteen of my top 11 reasons, one of which may actually be funny:
I'm waiting for the OSS movement to support COBOL 2002.
Agoraphobia. I'm afraid of open spaces.
I'm still trying to pre-sell the movie rights.
I'm waiting for my lawyer to finishing reviewing that licensing agreement.
I'm waiting for AOL to add AOL keyword OSS.
I'm still trying to get my TRS-80 connected to the Internet.
I'm still trying to figure out how to use WebTV to upload my perl module to
C-SPAN. They're on channel 38 in my town.
Where do I mail my card deck / paper tape?
I will, I will, as soon as "make" finishes on my Commodore 64.
I'm waiting for ESR to answer my email asking how to get started.
I'm prohibited by the terms of my probation, from the last time I tried to
"share" source code.
I'm waiting for Microsoft to buy them out.
Too busy earning a living & raising a family.
I'm confident that others can do better. I know that one of you already has.
