John,
I have also experienced these hangs, but when I look at how long it takes me to
cross reference all references to a word, and see how many times it exists in a
manual, and list the manuals in order of 'hits', I find that I can re-boot
several times and still get the information that I need faster than flippin'
through manuals.
Actually, I don't have a hang very often, but I have been frustrated by this as
well. If I am planning on doing some heavy searching, I will reboot my pc, not
load anything that I don't need, then go directly into the LaserRom software. I
find that I have less problems this way.
