At one time, at least, the lifecycle actually went:
 
 intro -> [wait or sched] -> intro -> etc. etc.
 
You could see the first intro reliably by typing :STREAM and the !JOB
command into one window, then do the :SHOWJOB in another window. I wouldn't
be surprised if this is still the lifecycle.
