Generalitis, that sounds like an inflammation of the general. :)

I had meant the prior answer to be personal to you, but as I am suffering
from jet lag, I fumbled it.

The secret of MPE-Image is definitely NOT Performance-enhanced CPUs. That's
a good one considering the amount of crippling with which the MPE boxes are
inflicted. :)

It's really simple, MPE doesn't do much, but what it does, it does very well
and very efficiently. The problem is that it doesn't do much and has been
left behind by the other systems, and that's a shame. Couple that with the
crippling and there you are, EOL.

As for Mac. Thanks for the opening. On the long flight back from Paris to
Houston, I had the honor/chance/misfortune (take your pick) of sitting
diagonally behind someone with an Apple TiBook or whatever it's called. He
was running MacOs 9.2. How do I know? Simple he had to reboot about 7
times during the flight. I know it's a 10 hour flight, but he didn't start
working on it until hour 4. My old Windows 2000 Pro laptop gets rebooted
once every few months, sometimes longer. Chances of me going to MacOs: 0.
I need something that I can depend on. :)
