I get a similar problem on a system that is outside our firewall. We have a
'balky' CiscoPro ISND router that seems to lose its routes after a time and
we have to reboot it. The 3k see the reboot as a network error on the
default gateway and ceases to use the gateway. This gives a variety of
errors, in my case mostly Destination Unreachable. This part of 3k
networking seems VERY fragile.

Anyway,

:netcontrol update=all;net=<<Your net name>>

refreshes the internal tables without stopping the LAN. This fixes the
problem without aborting the users that are already connected to the 3k.
