As some of you know, I am a bit of a history buff, and as such I like to
read articles that tie in historical perspective with more current
events.  I came across this article today, written by an historian with
a penchant more to my way of thinking.  Let not that trouble you
however, I think most will find the article interesting.

The article is entitled "These are Historic Times," and is written by
Victor Davis Hanson.
