I am trying to RESTART our spare HP3000-918LX which has been sitting
powered down for some time.
Of course it does not start.
I get these errors:
Trying Primary Path
Booting . . .
ENTRY_TEST status = 0
Failed to Initialize
ENTRY_INIT status = -4
Try Alternate Boot Path
Hard Booted
TAPEIPL version 1.0
ISL Loaded
ISL Revison A.00.42 Apr 12, 2000
Cannot find an auto-execute file. AUTOBOOT aborted.
Now, I last did this sort of stuff in August of 2008 so for all
intents and purposes I have no idea on how to proceed from this point.
What I have is a recent CSLT from our primary 918LX, a full system
backup tape and numerous spare HDDs. The tape drive appears to work
fine.
How do I get our reserve HP3000 back in working condition?
Sincerely,
--
