Hi Eric,
    I just finished an 8 month campaign (read Normandy was easy compared to
this!) to get a new line printer for the HP 3000...

    Biggest problem I had was getting certification that the printer I wanted
could print  USPS bar codes properly.   USPS uses its own barcodes :(

    Otherwise the info below is definitely very good info about printing 'em :)

Certainly Fantasia is ideal software for printing barcodes. We use it for
ID-Cards, etc. here at John Abbott College. Not sure you need a specific
printer, though. A laser in conjunction with Fantasia suffices for us...
