Before anyone laughs me off of the list I have to say that some of us just
like to hold onto some of the ancient equipment because it still does the
job and (mostly) because we are not budgeted to replace them.

We have a HP Portable Plus, model number 45711B, that we want use, at
times, as a VT100 device. We have no documentation with it and need to know
what the pinouts are for the 9 pin connector for VT100. I have contacted
the division in HP that handles the manuals, but they are not sure which
one I need.

Does any one know if that info might be in the Parts & Service, Technical
Reference or Users manual, or better yet, do you know what the pinouts are?

TIA,

Ed Gill
