I know, I know, this system is really old!

But, I'm trying to resurrect this system for some testing. According to the
SYSGEN>IO>LDEV it has six disk drives on it, as per this map:

Ldev 1 = 4.1.0 (2203)
Ldev 2 = 4.1.1 (2203)
Ldev 3 = 4.5.2 (2203)
Ldev 4 = 4.1.2 (2203)
Ldev 5 = 4.1.4 (7937)
Ldev 11 = 4.1.5 (7937)

After some trial and error, I have found that Ldev's 1, 2, and 4 are
internal to the SPU, Ldev 3 is in a box by itself, as are the two 7937's.

My problem is this: I can get all the drives to spin up "clean and green",
but with all drives powered up, Ldev's 3 and 4 refuse to mount. When the
system gets to the "System I/O Configuration" and "pings" the drives, Ldev 3
and 4 start blinking simultaneously and then I get the "configured but not
available" message for these drives. If I power off Ldev 3 (in the external
enclosure), then Ldev 4 will mount successfully (during a reboot).

This looks like a configuration problem, but I am lost. Any ideas? It is
not absolutely required that I salvage this drive, but it would be nice.
