Hi fellow Listers !

Anyone knows if the MPE/iX Express Releases / PowerPatches are orderable via
some website ? I've searched ITRC extensively and I did not find anything. I
don't know if the subject has already been raised.

TIA,

Christian Lheureux

It has been my experience that, as of late, the MPE/iX Express Releases require a Subsystem tape to work properly.

Therefore, you must order through HP Contracts.

We have automatically received release order notices which allow us to order a Power Patch / Subsystem set via fax using a conveniently provided request form.

Unfortunately, the fax number given [(877) 445-7690], in our experience, never answered, and rang and rang and rang and rang.

My solution to this was to call the number on the cover letter at (650) 960-5878, and the person who answered did not understand the call and gave me another number, when called, seemed to be a computer operator or something, and who, also, knew even less. My ONLY complaint was that the fax on their end was not working.

When calling the Response Center, the very helpful person there transferred me to contracts, and waited on the line (for about five minutes of pleasant Muzak) until someone there came and took my order.

The fax line seems to be working now just fine.
