Normally I would say do not change the output because myself and many others
often write tools that look at output from CI commands. However, in this
case I think that the additional information is important enough to warrant
a change to the default output of the DSTAT command. I would just increase
the LDEV and model number fields but not add any additional information to
the default output.

Definitely I would like to see HAFO information. I like the idea of using
FORMAT=DETIAL as a option to display it. I also like the original format of
the HAFO information proposed in a earlier email. Here is the example:

 LDEV: 31
 MODEL: C2490AM-NIKE
 VOLNAME: MEMBER1
 VOLTYPE: MASTER
 VOLSET-GEN: MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET-0
 PRIMARY PATH: 8.0.0
 PRIMARY STATUS: ready
 ALT PATH: 16.0.0
 ALT STATUS: ready
EVENT TIME: <if this field has data put the
date and time if no data put NONE>

If any fields above have no data put NONE in the field. Also line up the
data so that it all starts on the same column this will make it easier to
parse output if necessary.

Not required DISCFREE does that but, it would be nice. If you do include a
total % free for each user volume set as well as the system volume set.
