Well, I can't directly address the web performance question, but I can
tell you that we have a HP9000 K570/400 - with 4 processors and fiber
channel Nike disk drives running a commerical application on top of Oracle
that is a dead horse next to our lightening quick HP3000 969/120 - with 1
processor.  For example, we can produce invoices at 26/sec on MPE and
4/sec on HP-UX. And management thought we'd get *away* from batch
processing on the new HP-UX/Oracle based system - Ha!.
