This is a worthy goal.
Obviously, some people get "closer to the goal"
than others. Perhaps one has to have a genetic
predisposition towards "neatness" and "closure",
in addition to a vast knowledge of the kinds of
conditions that MIGHT happen, in addition to good
programming skills (and personal discipline) to
actually implement the required labor-intensive
if-the-else structures.
When all is said and done, it is important to
remember that these ideas apply to ANY operating
system and to ANY programming language.
