If you convert $2 / gallon into units that the rest of the civilized world
can relate to you get something like 53 cents / liter, which would be
considered a bargain.

Oh I can only dream. Southern California prices are $2.05 - 2.30 for
regular, Northern California add $.15 - $.20

Around here, they are ridin herd on the gaspumps at $1.55 - $1.70 if
your in
Moody, Al or $1.65 - 1.85 in tax hell Birmingham.

Locking gas cap are the thing of choice. More power to bicycles and
footpower.

Spending less time on the road, cause I cant spend as much.

;)

Sheesh! And I thought $1.70 per gallon for gas was bad! That's what it
is
where I live.
(Independence, MO). Across stateline in Kansas it is a little higher,
but
not much.

I just returned from a visit to Mesa. IT'S STILL TOO HOT THERE FOR
ME!!!

The gas crisis has ended. The media isn't playing it up anymore, I
think
that was part of their problem.
I hate to say it, but my son was also peddling gas and bottles of water.
I
think he broke even?

The price of gas seems to have settled down to $2.05 - $2.12 per gallon;
regular unleaded. I don't believe
it will drop much further until after the Labor Day weekend.

I see where some guy in Mesa was peddling cans full of gas for sale...

Huh? Is Mesa someplace in some third-world country? This kind of stuff
-
gas shortages, massive power outages, etc. only occurs in third-world
countries right???
