I wasn't going to get involved in this thread, and I hope that by now most
people have added it to their "kill" list, but I didn't realize that Denys had
used my name in his original post:

I have never said this; the statement Denys attributes to me contains a
premise that is either meaningless or false. Obviously, Internet postings are
not graded for accuracy, but I prefer that anything with my name on it be as
accurate as possible.
