When I'm testing someone's code, and their program displays "press
any key to continue", I'll sometimes make a show of pressing the
<shift> key, just for fun. :)

Once in school we were lectured on the virtues of "idiot proofing" our data
entry routines. (I'm sure it was stated in a more politically correct manor,
but I don't recall the PC version).

After making some changes & feeling quite proud of myself, I asked on of the
teacher's assistants to "try and crash" my program.

At the first prompt entered ":EOF:" and hit return ...Needless to say I haven't
quite so cocky ever since...:-)

If you've never seen this behavior before I'd recommend saving whatever you're
doing BEFORE giving it a try!
