It certainly can't infect an MPE system.  I'm pretty sure that DCE RPC
and the Microsoft RPC stuff don't use the same TCP port, so the MPE
system is probably not even listening on the port that the worm attacks,
so it's unlikely that it could have any secondary effect such as hanging
or crashing the service on that port.

So the short answer is I don't think you have anything to worry about.
