Is it my imagination or are we getting more cross-postings lately from other
HP newsgroups? Whenever I see one of these I'm tempted to ask the poster
some questions to make him go "huh?" like, "How did you connect your scanner
to an HPe3000 minicomputer? Is this on a 9x9KS, a 997 12-CPU system, or a
new A- or N-class box?"
Or pointing out that his problem isn't likely to be solved, since if he
can't even ask his question in the right place, how can we be sure he's done
anything else right?
OTOH, the way things have gone lately, it wouldn't surprise me to find out
that HP is now selling a Multi-Purpose-Everything Printer/Scanner/Fax/Copier
-- MPE for short. ;^>
Patrick (just ornery today I guess)
