First off, my apologies if this should be posted somewhere else - and I'll gladly
take guidance for where "somewhere else" might be.
We've got a stumper of an issue with the "SHOWOUT" command under the
Transformix MPE shell. It hangs.
No errors, no output, no *nothing*. It just flat-out hangs, and hangs to the
point that the only way to free it up is to kill the "mpe" process from another
session.
A "SHOWME" says "RELEASE: TRANSPORT 2.50". A "what" on "mpe" gives the
following:
$ whence mpe
/app001/xport/bin/mpe
$ what `whence mpe`
/app001/xport/bin/mpe:
$Revision: 92453-07 linker linker crt0.o B.11.38 031218 $
mpeproc.c 1.33 09/25/97 10:21:37
mpespool.c 1.22 06/13/95 15:56:41
sy800b.c 1.20 10/10/01 10:12:49
osfutil.c 9.4 1/17/94 17:54:49
Is this a known issue with this version of Xformix? Do we need an updated
version of the software, or is there some hidden file that needs to be removed
under the Xformix "SPOOLDIR" directory, or is this Something Else Entirely?
Any light that could be shed would be muchly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike Reaser
