Is Advanced Telnet available on invent9k?
If not can it be installed?

In the current computing environment, I see QCTERM & Advanced Telnet as a great Long-Distance Telnet solution.
Actually, (Correct me if I'm wrong Wirt) if the QCTERM Vision does come to be, then QCTERM may also be a good screen/application front-end designer solution. I know the above statement is a little premature, but most of us 3k'ers do have some time, the 3k is not going to stop running any time soon.

Maybe a year from now I'll be able to use a application front-end designer supported by QCTERM, HP-Eloquence or SAPDB, and gnu Cobol, or maybe not? I'm in no rush to jump on anybodies migration band wagon yet. Unfortunately the hardware and software industry would prefer you to jump when you're asked, and stay put when asked. Be patient an stay put, and acquire knowledge before you make the jump.

BTW: I have heard many view-points on 3k migration solutions, and listened to a few presentations. Last month I was present at a migration presentation by Duane Percox, and I was most impressed. Duane is one of the most knowledgeable HP3000/MPE people I know. He as some very viable options for Linux, HP-UX, Open source databases and compilers. He also made the point that can't be said loud enough, we have LOTS OF TIME.

Where's the COLT-45 guy when ya need him?
