Hi ,
Just a quick correction to the mail below, All HP 3000 Solutions
Symposium speakers are completely free (for the full 4 days). This applies to
HP employees as well as all other speakers. It's the least we could do for
the time and effort community members and HP employees are dedicating to
these 2 and 3 hour sessions.

There are no discounts to the SIG3000 meeting due to the very low cost we
are charging, $100. This fee covers the cost of lunches.

If you have other questions please call or email me.

stated there is no discount for HP employees to attend the Solution
Symposium and SIG3000. Exceptions are if an HP employee is presenting a
paper, lab or tutorial then he/she can attend for free just that session.
If an HPemployee is a SIG liaison then he/she can attend that particular SIG
for
free. Otherwise, all HP employees need to pay the full conference prices.

My *guess* is there will be far fewer CSY folks attending these events. CSY
is trying to spend money carefully and wisely, and may not send as many
engineers to these events as we have sent to IPROF in the past. Maybe I've
just been spoiled over the years by discounted or free admission to events
like these, which I personally believe are quite valuable to CSY and to our
customers.
