Thank you for the feedback.
- We backup and purge "not opened" log files nightly. So I think we're
okay there.
- Discfree shows 39% Perm and 46% Total avail on the system volume.
- It looks like we're at the reboot option.

Yes I have seen it SEVERAL times before, one time very recently.
There are a couple of causes, mainly
1) out of disc space on the system volume set
2) pre-existing logfiles
I would recommend,
1) purge all log file LOG####.PUB.SYS
if you don't want to get ride of them, then rename them into a new group
NEWGROUP OLDLOGS
COPY LOG????.PUB.SYS, LOG????.OLDLOGS.SYS
2) Make sure you have enough free space
DISCFREE "C,,MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET"
Generally I would like to see at least 30% available.
3) Reboot, I have yet to find a way to re-start logging without
rebooting.
