Ron

I have done this and the drives show up immediately, except when I have configured
drives incorrectly (wrong path). What does the console say, did the volumes AVR
when configured or was an error message displayed. One way to tell is when you
added the drive was there a very long delay before IOCONFIG returned a prompt.

Subject: DSTAT & IOCONFIG

Hello All,
I'm trying to add some additional drives (EMC) to our system. EMC has
installed and configured them in the cabinet. I have added the paths and
devices using IOCONFIG. However, DSTAT does not show those new devices.
SHOWDEV does list them. So what am I missing? Any help would be
appreciated.

Sincerely,
