I am trying to determine if my HFS is setup or working correctly.
When a new account is created using newacct, what should be created in the
HFS space?

I'm asking based on an error I get while trying to install Samba/ix on 5.5.
The setupj job tries to use newlink to link /etc/local/samba to /SAMBA/PUB.
This generates an error because there is no /local/samba under /etc.

Is something not set up correctly?
