Hello folks @ 3000-l,

there may be a newer 6.0 patch, but i'm running the 'L' patch (yes, folks
she just upshifted! :-) -- so i'd recommend getting the latest ftp patch.
if you update just ftp, you don't have to reboot -) (but you do want to
make a new cslt) - d

james recommends:
FTPGD91 for C.60.00 (General Release)
NSTGD19 for C.60.00 (General Release)
INTFDX2 for C.60.00 (General Release)
NMSFDQ9 for C.60.00 (General Release)
Reasons...
0) Put on the GR FTP patch... the 'c' patch is a bit old as donna says.
1) Put on the GR NS-Transport patch... FTP runs over the NS-Transport.
2) Put on the GR Internet Services patch... Inetd changes were made to
address priority of starting servers (FTPSRVR). This could be your
problem!
3) Put on the GR Node Management Services patch... This includes the
enhancement to increase Buffer Manager pool from 16mb to 32mb. The
buffer pool can be monitored in :nettool.net.sys;info="res;di;quit".
Further problems... work with the hp-rc to isolate the problem further.
I hope this helps.
