Hi Dave,
We use 25-pair Amphenol (sp?) extension cables. These are the standard
telephone-style multiple twisted pair cables used with AT&T 110 blocks,
etc. These cables are available in a multitude of standard lengths,
10', 25', 50', etc. Works Fine. Lasts long time. (@ Denys?)
As a side note, we don't use the distribution panel. We wire directly
to our 'back board' and punch down the wire ends onto 110 blocks, and
cross-over to the building wiring, or to another block that connects
to our mux/modem cabinet. Fits 8 terminals on 1/2 of a 110 block. If
you'd like to know the pin-outs, let me know.
