Since I didn't get to go to Philadelphia and experience it first hand I'll
give my impression of what's happened.

Most likely the correspondence on this list about an ad in the WSJ was
summarized by someone and presented to Carly and Ann and their speech
writers.  We got their attention. They responded to it with their
presentations to HP World the way they thought would be appropriate enough
to soothe us.  They went back to work with business as usual and have
absolutely no intention of changing their grand plan.  I doubt that an ad in
the WSJ at this point would have any effect whatsoever on upper level HP
management.
