To transfer files using RUMBA, you have to use FTP; but don't use the one
in RUMBA Office! We found that doesn't work well with the 3000, for some
reason. As a matter of fact, RUMBA _itself_ doesn't do too well on 3000
terminal emulation (termulation - to borrow a term).

<begin rant>

When we first brought RUMBA in as the standard for all (IBM, Un*x, HP)
termulations, I had them set up the HP emulation to use NS/VT, that being
the best way to communicat to the 3000 over the net. However, we found
that one of our V/Plus screens timed out before the user could enter data
in the second field - very bad form (sorry, pun _not_ intended -
honest!). Shortly after the new PCs went out, I started getting calls to
that effect. Result: change the setup to use TELNET to the
TELNET/Express box.  Oh, well.

<end rant>
