I just noticed that there is no /dev/null on my 5.5 system.

Does anybody know how to create it? I assume I need to use mknod, but I
don't know which major/minor numbers to use. Electronic and paper
documentation explains how to create LDEV-based /dev files, but not for
$NULL.

I tried symlinking to $NULL, but it won't let you link to system defined files.

I'm too chicken to try using major 3 minor 2 like on my HPUX 10.10 system
without seeking confirmation first.....
