On the same Beatles theme...

You all might want to check your collection of Beatles LP's for
the butcher block album. The album title was Yesterday and Today.

The original cover has the Beatles with dismembered dolls and it
caused such an outrage that the remaining covers were re-covered by
a non-offensive picture.

The Antiques Roadshow said a pristine original cover could be worth
about $10,000. Even the covers that were covered over are worth a lot.

I checked my collection, but of course, I didn't have one.

Ernie

Well, it was 40 years ago today, August 27, 1967 that Brian Epstein, the
Beatles manager passed away.

As John Lennon was reported as having said when he heard of the news --

"Well, that's us f****d" .....

No kidding....

Without Epstein to guide them they truly were..........

Seems like it all happened yesterday........
