Leonard,

You are partially correct. My reply was in one way meant in jest but in
another way was intended as a compliment. I, too, have been using VESoft
products since the late '80s and have almost always found them to be prompt
in responding to my needs and very helpful with their solutions. Sadly this
is not always the standard with some companies. Sometimes it's the
exception.

Thanx,
        Jon

<<...and I got a reply back. It was even the right answer :)>>

Meant in jest, but foul, foul, foul nevertheless. "Americans," to quote Ari
Fleisher, "will have to be careful of what they say..."

I have made dozens of calls to Vesoft for help with an expression program
or some feature or other over the past fifteen years or so. More recently,
I have used the e-mail address when the matter was less urgent. Throughout
this period, I have spoken to many of the Vesoft personnel. All have been
courteous and eager to serve. I have found the help received to be
consistently outstanding and knowledge offered readily and freely. Most of
the time, someone in the technical support department was on the phone
during the first call. At other times, calls were returned in a timely
fashion.
